Installation Accessories

For R-1-1 and R-1-2 model, they are similar, but R-1-1 doesn’t need rail/slat, it can install on the existing roof, such as full wood panels, wood shingles, steel board, cement roof, or any other existing roof, you can’t see the thatches underneath the roof. R-1-2 may need rail, but you can use wood sticks or battens instead of rails. Our rail is 1m or 3m long. R-1-2 can be installed on the wood rafters or battens structure roof, then you can see the back side of thatches when you stand underneath the roof.

The windproof clips are used for strong wind area, each leaf uses 2 clips. For the top ridge, hip/valley/gutter and round top cap, you can make them by our standard thatches, you can also buy from us.
